Oracle and Digital Realty have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at accelerating the adoption of AI and hybrid IT architectures across global enterprises. The partnership brings together Oracle’s cloud infrastructure and Digital Realty’s global network of carrier-neutral data centers to offer businesses faster deployment, reduced complexity, and better performance through Oracle Cloud Solution Centers hosted on PlatformDIGITAL.

Digital Realty, a key player in colocation and interconnection solutions, will now offer access to Oracle Cloud technologies via Oracle Solution Centers strategically located in Singapore, Frankfurt, and Northern Virginia, with virtual access in London. These centers are designed to provide secure environments for testing, validating, and deploying AI and hybrid cloud solutions.

The initiative forms part of a broader effort by both companies to support enterprise digital transformation through cloud-adjacent architecture and low-latency connectivity.

Tony Bishop, Senior Vice President of Enterprise and Platform Solutions at Digital Realty, emphasized the significance of bringing cloud and AI services closer to the data. “We’re delivering cloud and AI capabilities right to the data, where clients need them, by using Oracle’s technologies and our Pervasive Data Center Architecture (PDx). This helps reduce deployment friction and accelerates time-to-market,” he said.

Access to Verified Cloud and AI Configurations

As an Oracle FastConnect partner, Digital Realty offers a range of services including colocation, multicloud connectivity, and dedicated interconnection options. Through this collaboration, enterprise customers also gain access to a library of over a dozen verified cloud, data, and AI infrastructure configurations jointly developed by Oracle and Digital Realty. These pre-validated use cases are intended to streamline IT modernization initiatives, particularly those that rely on the performance and scalability of AI-driven workloads.

Three integrated PDx solutions are currently available, providing standardized toolkits and design frameworks for deploying Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Dedicated Region, Oracle Exadata, and Oracle FastConnect on Digital Realty’s PlatformDIGITAL. These toolkits are coupled with ServiceFabric, Digital Realty’s orchestration platform, to help enterprises simplify data exchange across distributed IT environments.

Global solution architecture teams from both companies are stationed at the Oracle Solution Centers to assist clients with everything from proof-of-concept design to full-scale implementation. According to Oracle, this integrated approach gives customers a seamless pathway to build and deploy advanced workloads confidently.

The partnership is already delivering measurable results. In a cited example, Grupo Anaya utilized Oracle FastConnect and Digital Realty infrastructure to boost application performance by 40% and reduce both latency and network costs by more than 75% – achieving their digital transformation goals a full year ahead of schedule.

Simplifying Cloud and AI Deployment

Patrick Cyril, Global Vice President at Oracle, highlighted the practical value of the partnership: “With a clear and seamless blueprint for success, customers can confidently architect and deploy cloud and AI workloads thanks to Oracle Solution Centers’ integration with Digital Realty’s colocation and connectivity solutions.”

Industry analysts also see this collaboration as a strong signal of how ecosystem partnerships can accelerate cloud and AI adoption. IDC Research Vice President Courtney Munroe noted, “Digital Realty and Oracle are helping enterprises reduce complexity, shorten deployment timelines, and turn data into a strategic asset more quickly and effectively by combining global infrastructure with use cases, integrated solutions, and hands-on expertise.”

This joint initiative marks a significant step in simplifying the deployment of complex AI and hybrid IT architectures, offering enterprise customers the tools and infrastructure needed to innovate at scale in a rapidly evolving digital economy.
