Lyntia Networks, a fast-growing neutral wholesale telecom operator, is modernizing its operational support systems (OSS) using Oracle’s cloud-native communications technology. The move aims to automate service orchestration processes and enable faster time-to-market as Lyntia expands its network footprint and portfolio of services across Europe.

Operating in Spain and Portugal with extended presence in France, Germany, and the UK, Lyntia provides wholesale connectivity services such as dark fiber, cloud connect, colocation, and VPN to national and international carriers, hyperscalers, utility firms, and data center providers. To support this growing range of offerings and accelerate deployment timelines, the company has selected Oracle’s Unified Operations solutions suite, which is compliant with TM Forum standards.

At the core of this transformation is Oracle Communications Order and Service Management (OSM), a scalable orchestration engine that now anchors Lyntia’s OSS architecture. By automating workflows around service activation and configuration, Lyntia can now deliver Ethernet Line (E-Line), multipoint, and other custom enterprise services more efficiently and reliably.

“Choosing a proven, scalable solution with OSS automation expertise was essential to meeting our growth goals and improving time to revenue,” said Marta Ruperez Yague, IT Director at Lyntia Networks. “Working in close collaboration with Oracle and integration partner Optare Solutions, we’ve automated key operational processes and accelerated our shift toward autonomous network operations.”

The deployment also integrates Oracle Communications ASAP (Activation Service and Provisioning), enhancing service activation across legacy and next-gen interfaces. Lyntia expects to roll out Oracle Unified Assurance next, a real-time network and service assurance platform that will provide intelligent fault detection, root cause analysis, and automated remediation – integrated tightly with OSM for end-to-end operational visibility and control.

Software-Defined Connectivity Provider

The rollout represents a milestone in Lyntia’s digital transformation as it evolves into a more agile, software-defined connectivity provider. Oracle’s Andrew Morawski, EVP and GM of Oracle Communications, highlighted the strategic role played by long-term Oracle partner Optare Solutions in achieving this outcome.

“Lyntia is a clear example of how modern telecom operators are using automation and cloud-native OSS to scale rapidly and compete effectively,” said Mr. Morawski. “Our collaboration with Optare has been key to turning Lyntia’s vision of automated service delivery into an operational reality.”

Optare Solutions, a member of the Oracle Partner Network with specialized expertise in telecom OSS deployments, served as system integrator for the project. “Our domain knowledge and Oracle experience helped align technical implementation with Lyntia’s business goals,” said Luis Alves, General Manager at Optare. “The speed and success of this deployment reflect the strength of that collaboration.”

Lyntia’s automation strategy is expected to lay the groundwork for further expansion while enabling greater service agility, improved customer experience, and reduced operational overhead.
