HostPapa, a global provider of digital solutions based in Burlington, Ontario, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire CloudBlue, a division of Ingram Micro, in a strategic move that is expected to significantly expand HostPapa’s role in the cloud services ecosystem.

With a focus on telcos, managed service providers (MSPs), resellers, agencies, and hyperscalers, the agreement puts HostPapa in a position to improve its capabilities in automated provisioning, subscription commerce, and partner-focused monetization.

CloudBlue, long recognized for its leadership in cloud distribution and subscription management, brings to the table a robust platform with more than 450 pre-built integrations. Its Connect and Commerce systems are designed to automate provisioning, payments, and service orchestration across complex, multi-tier partner networks. The acquisition allows HostPapa to leverage this infrastructure to deliver more agile, scalable solutions, especially tailored for small and mid-sized channel partners – segments that are often underserved in the cloud distribution landscape.

The integration of CloudBlue into HostPapa’s operations will also complement Hostopia, HostPapa’s existing partner platform. Together, the platforms are expected to offer a more unified and automation-driven solution that boosts partner go-to-market agility, enhances bundling of services, and accelerates recurring revenue growth. The combined entity aims to redefine the cloud service delivery model by incorporating AI-driven capabilities and outcome-based monetization strategies.

White-Label Marketplaces, Hyperscaler Integrations

CloudBlue’s existing base of independent software vendors (ISVs) and global partners will now be supported by HostPapa’s operational scale, engineering expertise, and commitment to ongoing investment. The company plans to double down on white-label marketplaces, hyperscaler integrations, and seamless ISV onboarding – strategic areas that are essential to driving next-generation cloud solutions.

The acquisition also enables HostPapa to deepen its value proposition across the cloud services spectrum. With a sharpened focus on automation and monetization, HostPapa intends to build on CloudBlue’s foundation of innovation and evolve it into a modern, flexible platform designed to meet the demands of today’s subscription-driven economy.

While the financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed, the transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2025, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions. With CloudBlue’s inclusion, HostPapa strengthens its position as a key player in the cloud services landscape, aiming to empower partners and customers alike in an increasingly digital world.
