Digital Realty and Vultr Partner on Global AI Infrastructure Delivery

Digital Realty and Vultr have announced a global partnership aimed at delivering enterprise-grade AI infrastructure designed to meet the rising demand for high-performance, GPU-accelerated computing. The agreement combines Digital Realty’s global network of carrier- and cloud-neutral data centers with Vultr’s privately held cloud infrastructure platform, enabling organizations to deploy artificial intelligence workloads at scale with speed, security, and compliance.

The collaboration is anchored on Digital Realty’s PlatformDIGITAL and Vultr’s GPU-accelerated cloud technology, which leverages NVIDIA HGX B200 and AMD Instinct MI325X chips. These high-density GPU clusters are now operational in Atlanta, Dallas, London, San Francisco, and Singapore, with further rollouts planned in Frankfurt, Mumbai, Sydney, and Tokyo. The expansion is designed to bring low-latency access to AI workloads closer to enterprise data sources, supporting both training and inference applications.

Integration via Digital Realty’s ServiceFabric interconnection platform provides enterprises with direct access to Vultr’s infrastructure through the AI Private Exchange (AIPx). This ensures secure, high-bandwidth, and low-latency connections across hybrid environments, a key requirement for organizations balancing global compliance needs with local data sovereignty regulations. The service is designed to be consumption-based, eliminating the need for long-term commitments and enabling customers to scale infrastructure in line with demand.

Optimized for GPU-Intensive Workloads

The architecture underpinning the new service was built specifically for AI and optimized for GPU-intensive workloads. It offers enterprises an immediate on-ramp to production-ready AI environments without the complexity and cost of designing and deploying custom solutions.

Chris Sharp, Chief Technology Officer at Digital Realty, emphasized the importance of placing AI infrastructure near enterprise data. “By combining Vultr’s disruptive price-to-performance model with our global PlatformDIGITAL footprint, we’re enabling instant AI infrastructure that empowers enterprises to activate Private AI – close to their data, within compliance boundaries, and without the complexity of standing up bespoke environments. This trusted foundation allows customers to focus on achieving AI outcomes at scale.”

Kevin Cochrane, Chief Marketing Officer at Vultr, reinforced the focus on enterprise readiness. “Enterprises need AI infrastructure that’s not only powerful, but production-ready and responsive to compliance considerations. Our collaboration with Digital Realty delivers exactly that: immediate access to high-performance GPU infrastructure in the world’s most strategic digital hubs. Together, we’re trusted, long-term partners helping organizations scale AI with confidence.”

The partnership positions Digital Realty and Vultr as key players in the global AI infrastructure race, offering a combination of performance, scalability, and compliance designed to support enterprise AI adoption across industries.
